Description
Leidos has an opportunity for a UX/IX Designer to support the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Outcome-based Delivery and DevSecOps Services (ODOS) IV proposal and program. As part of the team, you will participate in solution development and technical demonstrations to support a winning proposal. This role will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver Section 508-compliant, user-centered designs for enterprise applications. The designer will apply best practices in UX/IX research, prototyping, and design to ensure intuitive and accessible solutions for USCIS mission applications.

Pay Range: Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

As part of the team, you will participate in solution development and technical demonstrations to support a winning proposal. This role will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver Section 508-compliant, user-centered designs for enterprise applications. The designer will apply best practices in UX/IX research, prototyping, and design to ensure intuitive and accessible solutions for USCIS mission applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in solution development and technical demonstrations to support a winning proposal.
- Design, prototype, and validate user interfaces for enterprise applications.
- Conduct generative and evaluative research to inform UX/IX design decisions.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and business analysts to ensure designs align with business and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain style guides, patterns, and design artifacts for enterprise consistency.
- Ensure Section 508 compliance in all user interfaces and support Trusted Tester validation requirements.
- Utilize tools such as Figma, HTML, and CSS to build prototypes and support user testing.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent additional years of experience).
- Minimum of 8 years of IT experience focusing on development projects.
- At least 3 years of experience in architecture and design of UX/IX for enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of interaction design theories and methodologies.
- Experience with prototyping tools (Figma, HTML/CSS).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester certification.
- Experience designing enterprise-level services within federal IT programs.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes.
