Description
SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst to provide on-site financial management support at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI.
In this role you will be responsible:
• Generating various financial and cost reports to support program execution.
• Analyzing project funds, review financial data for technical programs, and working closely with Technical Project Managers (TPMs) and Project Management Analysts; key part of your work will involve gathering financial information using the Navy Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system.
• Ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract.
• Developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that cost and schedule objectives are met.
• Preparing presentations and assisting with various financial actions and requests from the Department business office.

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of direct NUWC financial experience with a strong understanding of government financial systems.
• Must already possess minimum of interim SECRET clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of basic financial principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Preferred Skills
• DoD and NAVSEA ERP experience.
