The AUKUS, Submarines, and Industrial Base Group (ASIG), within the Sea, Land, Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to NAVSEA Team Submarine program offices and key stakeholders surrounding submarine platform construction. Team Submarine unifies submarine platform procurement activities, which includes the Columbia-class SSBN program (a Major Defense Acquisition Program and the Navy's top acquisition priority), the Virginia-class SSN program and the new SSN-X program (developing the next generation attack submarine), to bring improved capabilities to our undersea forces. Analysts and Engineers supporting Team Submarine will continue SPA's decades of support to the SSBN force, as well as supporting oversight of cutting-edge attack submarine construction, assisting in developing the design requirements for the SSN platform of the future, and helping plan and execute new and innovative strategies to strengthen the critical submarine shipbuilding industrial base. These are high-profile, major acquisition and manufacturing programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the US Navy in an era of renewed strategic competition.
SPA has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst supporting Advanced Undersea Systems in Team Submarine. MC
Responsibilities
SPA is seeking an outgoing, detail oriented, self-starter to provide support Team Submarine program offices. The Financial Analyst will provide analytic, technical, and management analysis support to undersea platform financial activities, focusing on program financial analysis, managing ERP, and data analysis.
The analyst will serve as a trusted asset and advisor to senior client leadership, developing detailed analytic products, distilling and crafting complex briefings and decision support tools, and coordinating analytic efforts across critical stakeholder organizations.
This position is located full-time onsite at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC, with potential for light telework.
Salary Range: 95k-125k

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Relevant experience in Navy financial programs may be considered in lieu of this requirement.
- 3-7 years of experience supporting navy acquisition financial Navy Programs including familiarity with Navy systems such as ERP, PBIS, COBRA
- Knowledge of the Navy's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPB&E) process
- Experience directly supporting leadership decision making, with ability to develop and brief technical reports and solutions
- Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment
- Strong experience analyIng program financial information and developing analytic products in Excel
Additional Qualifications Desired, but not required:
- Experience with and knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes
