Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our team supporting USTRANSCOM Transportation Geospatial Information System (TGIS).

This position is on site at Scott AFB, IL.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform formal software testing as an integral component of the program's overall product quality assurance.
  • Provide updated test plans for sustainment quarterly
  • capture
  • Capture and document within the CCT on the cloud non-prod environment.
  • Provide a test report 24 hours after testing completion that tracks number of major defects and medium defects by month and annually.
  • Create test cases and plans to provide end-to-end testing of all developed applications, reports, scripts, scenarios, procedures, and other software entities.
  • Ensure testing occurs in synchronization with the software engineering effort to assure the most rapid fielding of enhancements/emerging capabilities.


Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • BA/BS in related field with 5 years of experience in software testing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • ISTQB and CSTE certification is preferred,
