Overview
We are seeking an experienced Navy Qualified Validator to provide technical expertise across multiple ship classes, shipboard and shore-based systems, and subsystems. The role will focus on delivering cybersecurity, engineering support, logistics, technical documentation, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and system accreditation services to enhance the security posture and readiness of critical platforms.
Target platforms include Surface Ships, Carriers, Submarines, Service Craft, Army watercraft, Coast Guard vessels, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) platforms, Military Sealift Command (MSC) vessels, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) vessels, land-based test sites, and other Department of Defense (DoD) platforms.

Responsibilities
- Provide cybersecurity support across multiple ship systems and platforms using advanced security assessment tools, patch management, image development, and secure processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement cybersecurity measures and enhance overall system readiness.
- Ensure integration across platforms to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and resilience.
- Apply in-depth knowledge and experience with Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and Business IT systems.
- Manage all phases of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process in alignment with RMF requirements.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including:
- System Security Plans (SSP)
- Contingency Plans
- Privacy Impact Assessments
- Certification Reports and Accreditation Reports
- Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&M)
- Work closely with IT and engineering personnel to provide technical expertise and ensure compliance.
- Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills for reporting, documentation, and stakeholder interaction.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in validation, RMF package development, or other CSWF-related work.
Certifications: (At least one of the following certifications)

- CISM
- CISSP (or Associate)
- GSLC
- CCISO
- HCISPP
- Must possess a Fully Qualified Validator Certificate from the Certification Authority (CA) at the time of hire.
