JOB SUMMARY:
The Aircraft Mechanic II - Fuels Mechanic inspects, maintains, modifies, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and tests aircraft fuel systems assemblies and components. The Fuels Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting and determining the extent of adjustments or repairs required on various fuel system components.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Aircraft Mechanic II - Fuels Mechanic inspects, maintains, modifies, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and tests aircraft fuel systems assemblies and components. The Fuels Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting and determining the extent of adjustments or repairs required on various fuel system components.
Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS :
- No less than five (5) years' of general experience in maintaining aircraft.
- Solid, demonstrated ability to work well with others, especially within small, close workforce, good interpersonal communication skills are highly desired.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, be able to acquire and maintain any and all necessary security clearances and be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Installs and leak-checks fuel bladders, and other aircraft fuels accessories.
- Preforms leak path analysis on integral fuel tanks.
- Performs maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of external fuel tanks.
- Diagnoses malfunctions and overhauls fuels accessories by disassembling, cleaning, and examining parts for corrosion, wear, scratches, cracks, or other damage.
- Reassembles accessories, adjusting, and testing to ensure proper operation IAW standards in technical specifications such as technical orders, microfilm, manufacturers specification manuals, part supply books, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
- All other maintenance or mechanical task as assigned by a supervisor.

- Generally works in and outside of environmentally controlled work areas.
- Potential exposure to harsh or hazardous compounds and chemicals.
