The Electronics Maintenance Technician II applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum two (2) years' experience maintaining aircraft.
- Solid, demonstrated ability to work well with others, especially within small, close workforce, good interpersonal communication skills are highly desired.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, be able to acquire and maintain any and all necessary security clearances and be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
- Determines what repairs, modifications, and part replacements may be required.
- Performs diagnosis and corrective actions, disassembles, inspects, evaluates, and accomplishes necessary repairs.
- Works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Other related duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Often - Climbing, Stooping, Kneeling, Reaching, Standing, Sitting, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Talking, Hearing.
- Lifting/Moving Requirements - up to 50 pounds.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORK CONDITIONS:
- Generally works in and outside of environmentally controlled work areas.
- Exposure to loud noises.
