3. IT Subject Matter Specialist (Cloud Linux)
Agency Support: BEA – Linux systems supporting open-source development, cybersecurity, and cloud-based workloads in Microsoft Azure.
Brief Work Description: Provides system administration, security hardening, and operational support for BEA’s Linux servers and hybrid cloud systems. Will ensure secure, compliant, and efficient performance of BEA’s high-value statistical systems.
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering
· 6+ years Linux system administration experience (Red Hat/Ubuntu/CentOS)
· Hands-on experience with Azure cloud operations and automation scripting
· Security compliance knowledge (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53)
Preferred
· RHCSA/RHCE or Linux+ certification
· Experience with large-scale government data systems
· Ansible/Puppet automation expertise
