About the Role:
We’re seeking a versatile Full Stack Engineer who can build complete, end-to-end solutions across both client-side and server-side applications. You’ll design and implement responsive UIs, build robust APIs, manage and optimize databases, and ensure seamless performance across platforms.
Beyond strong technical skills, you’ll bring problem-solving ability, clear communication with technical and non-technical teammates, and adaptability to learn and apply new tools quickly. This role offers career growth into technical leadership, specialized engineering tracks, or management.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain responsive, secure, and high-performance web applications.
• Implement front-end interfaces using modern frameworks and tools.
• Build and optimize server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions.
• Manage relational database design, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure software is mission-ready for both cloud and edge deployments.
• Apply secure coding practices across unclassified and classified environments.
Required Experience:
Front-End:
• Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, React / Next.js
• Modern build tools (Vite, Webpack) and server-side rendering (SSR)
• State management (React Context, Zustand, Redux, etc.)
• RESTful APIs (GraphQL a plus)
• Error boundaries, suspense, and accessibility best practices
Back-End:
• Node.js, Python (with mypy)
• Authentication & authorization (OAuth, JWT)
• Validation (Zod, Valibot)
• Logging & monitoring (Sentry)
• Unit & integration testing (Vitest)
Database Management:
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Data modeling, schema migrations, advanced SQL concepts (window functions, CTEs, materialized views, stored procedures, triggers)
• Performance optimization (indexing, EXPLAIN ANALYZE)
• ETL/data pipelines; experience with Kafka, RedPanda, or other streaming platforms a plus
DevOps:
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines)
• Docker & Docker Compose (Kubernetes a plus)
• Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi, Terraform)
• Semantic versioning, deployment strategies, feature flags
• Linting/formatting (ESLint, Prettier)
• AWS or other cloud providers
Preferred Experience:
• Open-source contributions (GitHub or similar)
• Experience in secure, air-gapped, or classified environments
• Familiarity with GraphQL, Kubernetes, or advanced streaming platforms
• Prior work deploying to edge devices in constrained conditions
