Location: Herndon, VA

Cornerstone Defense is actively looking for a Recruiting Manager (RM) to join their Operations Department. Being a mix of both Production and Management, an effective RM will be able to lead the team from a management perspective and be a lead recruiter who can lead by example. The Recruiting Manager will be an integral player within the Operations Department who will help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Cornerstone Defense's recruiting and retention efforts through the application of performance metrics, processes, and training.

Management:

• Responsible for the management and supervision of recruiting team's drivers/fundamentals
• Responsible for all hiring and management of internal recruitment team to include:
  • Initial screening
  • Salary negotiations
  • Initial training
  • Long term coaching
  • Mentoring
  • Quarterly and Annual Reviews
  • Terminations
• Own the morning meeting (make decisions on who runs it daily)
• Assist in closing high-level deals for the recruiting team
• Responsible for quality control and database integrity within the Applicant Tracking System
• Ensure recruiting team is following all industry best practices to include EEO regulations
• Develop PIP Plans for retraining purposes
• Knowledge management (common document maintenance, internal shared drives, etc.)
• Report to upper management on productivity of team

Production:

• Source, recruit and maintain direct (billable) employees for the company

Training:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining a fully functional recruiting team
• Design training programs to match company objectives as needed
• Design and implement recruiter training procedures as needed
• Come up with innovative ways to recruit talent
• Conduct quarterly one on one's to help recruiters establish and then accomplish both short term and long-term goals
• Conduct training sessions for recruiting division (technology, program, etc.)

Data Analytics:

• Track data for analysis to include drivers/fundamentals (submittals, interviews, placements, etc.)
• Use data points for training purposes

Hours and Expectations:

• Monday thru Friday, 8am - 5pm
• This is a full-time position working out of our corporate headquarters in Herndon, VA
• Must be able to obtain a US security clearance. Currently not sponsoring.
