JOB SUMMARY:
The Aircraft Mechanic III - Armament is responsible for the disassembly, inspections, operation tests, troubleshooting, assembly, installation, and other necessary maintenance functions at an advanced level on launchers, racks, gun systems, and pylons IAW Work Control Documents (WCD) and applicable technical order (TO) data. The Aircraft Mechanic III will receive specialty armament training on A-10 and F-16 to remove/install guns and drums on such aircraft as well as accomplish applicable documentation and operational checkouts.

Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS :
- No less than five (5) years' of general experience in maintaining aircraft.
- Solid, demonstrated ability to work well with others, especially within small, close workforce, good interpersonal communication skills are highly desired.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, be able to acquire and maintain any and all necessary security clearances and be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Maintain, repair, inspect and test all normal or otherwise required work related to the aircraft.
- Assist with limited towing operations and other aircraft general maintenance tasks that do not require specialized training.
- Responsible for the overall mechanical duties of the contract.
- All other maintenance or mechanical task as assigned by a supervisor.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Perform other related duties, as required.
