Description
Leidos has an opportunity for a Application Developer to support the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Outcome-based Delivery and DevSecOps Services (ODOS) IV proposal and program. As part of the team, you will participate in solution development and technical demonstrations to support a winning proposal. The developer will design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications supporting USCIS mission objectives. This role will focus on DevSecOps development practices and contribute to modernization of critical USCIS systems.

Pay Range: Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

As part of the team, you will participate in solution development and technical demonstrations to support a winning proposal. The developer will design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications supporting USCIS mission objectives. This role will focus on DevSecOps development practices and contribute to modernization of critical USCIS systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in solution development and technical demonstrations to support a winning proposal.
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Translate detailed design requirements into high-quality software solutions.
- Develop, test, debug, and refine applications to meet business and technical needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with user requirements.
- Provide technical documentation, including program-level and user-level deliverables.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to ensure quality and reliability.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent additional years of experience).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working on DevSecOps projects.
- Experience in application programming on large-scale information systems.
- Strong skills in software design, development, and support of complex systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development environments and modern DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DHS/USCIS IT environments.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or other enterprise programming languages.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development and AWS services.
