Operations Manager
SURTASS provides an on-demand, mobile, and active/passive maritime surveillance capability in support of Joint and Naval Task Force commanders via towed acoustic sensor systems. The ships and installed SURTASS mission equipment are designed for extended duration and independent operations in remote geographic areas. Thus, self-sufficiency in operations and maintenance is an important mission objective. It is intended that operations and maintenance be performed on board vessels and in depot maintenance facilities with the objective of maximizing operational readiness.
Job Description: The Operations Manager shall:
Education:
Associate's Degree, or higher, in Business Administration, Resource Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
Desired Professional Experience:
Desired Certifications: Program Management Professional (PMP)
Clearance: Secret

Job Description: The Operations Manager shall:
- Manage staffing, qualifying, training, operations, and organizational level maintenance execution of the O&M crews.
- Develop and maintain the contractor Operations IMS.
- This position will not involve corporate operations work and interface, as the Operations Manager shall be solely focused on crew support to the government.
Education:
Associate's Degree, or higher, in Business Administration, Resource Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
Desired Professional Experience:
- Ten years of documented experience in managing technical teams executing operations and maintenance on Navy C4I systems and/or acoustic intelligence gathering systems
- Ten years' experience managing personnel
- Five years' documented experience in manpower planning, scheduling, qualification programs, and training programs
Desired Certifications: Program Management Professional (PMP)
