ICESS is recruiting for a mid-level PM to support the Department of Commerce (DOC) Office of Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management (OCRM).

Work is on site at the Herbert C. Hoover Building, 14th & Constitution Ave., NW, Washington DC 20230.

Duties include:
Provides oversight of all aspects of field and/or task-level project performance (i.e., technical, contractual, administrative, financial). May work on multiple projects simultaneously. Supervises personnel involved in all aspects of project activity, organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates, oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and maintains customer contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Recommends action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Exercises independent judgment, as well as a high-level of analytical skill, in solving non-routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems.

Also:
Develops detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals. Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies for cybersecurity initiatives. Facilitates meetings, provides clear communication, and ensures the timely completion of project milestones. Ensures all team members are aware of and executing their responsibilities effectively. Coordinates cybersecurity risk assessments and manage risk mitigation plans. Ensures all cybersecurity projects comply with applicable standards, policies, and procedures. Provides regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and compliance status. Prepares and presents detailed project status reports. Maintains up-to-date documentation of project plans and risks.

Minimum Education: BS/BA degree in related field or equivalent, such as a project management (PMP or FAC/PPM) certification.

Minimum Experience: 5 years of related experience

Security Clearance: Public Trust with a Position Sensitivity Level of High-Risk IT. The work to be performed may additionally require security clearances up to and including Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
