Job Title: Knowledge Manager
Location: Hanscom AFB
Customer: Air Force Research Laboratory / Program Executive Officer (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Knowledge Manager to assist with the establishment of the new Air Force (AF) C3BM PEO Program Management Office (PMO) who will oversee the architecture, design, analysis and implementation of the corporate knowledge framework, and will support the identification and integration of emerging technologies and commercial-off-the-shelf solutions (COTS) to help us remain competitive against United States (U.S.) adversaries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the corporate knowledge framework, ensuring that all knowledge management objectives are met, and deliverables are completed on time. The Knowledge Manager will work closely with AF senior leaders and cross-functional joint-agency teams to define, design, and implement the centralized corporate knowledge management framework.
Responsibilities:
• Directly report to senior AF leaders within the AFRL and PEO C3BM organizations
• Design, implement, and integrate a centralized corporate knowledge framework within the organization. This includes developing processes and protocols for storing information, making it accessible, controlling access and capturing new knowledge on SharePoint, JIRA, and/or Confluence
• Collaborate with cross-functional joint-agency teams in development of processes, implementation ensuring a culture that promotes knowledge sharing and a dynamic productive workplace
• Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, training, and troubleshooting to champion a knowledge management culture
• Sharing experiences across communities of practice, business units, and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing that enhances operations and reduces workload
• Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies, relevant dual use technologies, software, and COTS solutions
• Continuously improve program processes and procedures
• Research and analyze emerging technologies relevant to knowledge management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including engineers, developers, subject matter experts, and mission operators, to gather insights on needs and expertise on new technologies for the knowledge management enterprise

Additional Responsibilities:
• Facilitate collaboration with industry and education institution partners to advance the program's goals and objectives
• Communicate with partners to provide updates on project status, progress, and outcomes. Work with internal and external teams to ensure that partners are integrated into the program's operations and decision-making processes.
• The ability to build strong relationships, collaborate, and communicate effectively with Government customers and stakeholders across the Department of Defense is essential to the success of the program.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field. Experience may substitute in lieu of degree
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Knowledge Management, Sharepoint, and Cloud Management
• JIRA/Confluence experience/knowledge/administration
• Top Secret Clearance
• Advanced knowledge of Sharepoint, Cloud Management, Microsoft Excel, and other applications in the Microsoft suite
• Flexibility


Preferred
• Military service or operational experience. As the knowledge manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the development and integration of processes and protocols for storing information, making it accessible, controlling access and capturing new knowledge on SharePoint, JIRA, and/or Confluence. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, analyzing the status of Programs of Record (i.e. technology readiness and operational effectiveness, milestone schedule etc.), and assessing and implementing customer needs.
