Senior Network Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:
Creek Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator to lead enterprise network operations (NETOPS) and ensure secure, reliable connectivity across mission environments, pending contract award. The Senior Network Administrator will manage core network components, oversee Active Directory services, and enforce DoD security compliance while optimizing network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other virtual network components.
• Manage file and print servers, ensuring availability and performance.
• Coordinate with Defense Health Agency (DHA) for PPS requests and network-related approvals.
• Enforce compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) through Change Control Board (CCB) processes.
• Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Enterprise Management (EM) activities.
• Oversee Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Object (GPO) administration.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues and provide Tier 3 escalation support.
• Document network architecture, configuration changes, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in network administration or engineering.
• Strong expertise in enterprise networking, firewalls, routing, switching, and Windows server environments.
• Proven experience with AD, GPO, IAM, and compliance-driven environments.
• Ability to work independently and lead network operations in mission-critical settings.

Required Certifications:

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, CCNA-Security).
• CCNA.
• CCNP.
• CompTIA Network+.
• CompTIA Security+.

Clearance:

• Active Secret clearance required.
