Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Industrial Security 3. This position will report directly to the Director, Corporate Security and Special Programs. This position will be based out of Falls Church, VA.
This position develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
This position will act as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for multiple CAGE Codes within the Multi Facility Organization (MFO) structure, to include notifications for Joint Ventures and key stakeholders, both internal and external to Northrop Grumman. The selected candidate will serve as the lead for all MFO activities at the Corporate level, and interface with the MFO leads from each Sector.
As the FSO for the Corporate facility the selected individual will interact with and often be the face of the Security function to senior executives and visitors. This requires adept communication, leadership, and the ability to facilitate solutions that meet both company goals and regulatory requirements.
As a Senior Security Manager, this role is expected to lead day to day security operations including oversight of Physical Security, Program Security, Emergency Response, and Crisis Management. This position will also act as the Insider Threat Program Official for the Corporate Office.
This position will support and maintain Board of Director / Executive Leadership Team security clearances and accesses. This role will manage the Corporate office security staff, be responsible for the Security budget for the Corporate office, oversee the Allied Universal contract for the Corporate office, and serve as the alternate for the VACO Emergency Response Team.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to establish individual and organizational goals in line with corporate and sector objectives, demonstrate initiative in pursuing problems, opportunities and innovative solutions. Will be proficient in developing statements of work in support of security program requirements.

Primary Level Salary Range: $154,600.00 - $231,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of security experience OR Master's degree with 8 years of security experience OR Associate's degree with 12 years of security experience OR High School Diploma and 14 years of security experience
- Candidates must have a current DOD Top Secret level security clearance with ability to obtain, and maintain, SCI level access as a condition of continued employment
- Extensive experience providing security management functions for Special Access Programs and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information programs, and a history of engagement with the DoD and/or Intelligence Community cognizant security authorities providing oversight for these activities
- Candidates must obtain and maintain a Facility Security Officer (FSO) certification with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DSCA) as a condition of continued employment
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively manage a security team to deliver the highest quality customer service
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a favorable polygraph adjudication as a condition of continued employment
- Experience in managing a Multi Facility Organization (MFO)
- Experience managing complex budgets with multiple vendors
- Experience developing crisis management and emergency management plans, policies, and procedures, to include disaster preparedness communications, training, exercises and drills
- Experience managing a large security program which supports multiple facilities and project management, managing people, develop their skills, knowledge and align resources to accomplish the department's priorities, to include NISPOM and ICD's
