Financial Management Analyst (5142)

GVI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Patuxent River, MD supporting Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).

Position Responsibilities:

• Process financial transactions in Navy ERP and financial reporting.
  
• Assist team with spend plans and execution tracking.
  
• Review funds execution, with the team, in accordance with plans, rules and regulations.
  
• Review all funding, current and expired, with the team to work toward funding closeout.
  
• Assist the team with budget estimates and support plans.
  
• Review planning and assist with project structure creation, review budget request with team members.
  
• Assist with reporting of obligations and expenditures.
  
• Accept funding and provide chargeable objects.
  
• Provide cradle to grave support of funding.
  
• Provide advice and support to the team.
  

Support requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Business/financial/resource planning and funds management support to various program management offices.
  
• Prepare and track outgoing funding documents (OFD) using Navy ERP.
  
• Coordinate and prepare Procurement Requests (PR) in Navy ERP.
  
• Prepare fee for service memos.
  
• Coordination and administration of all business and financial formulation, submission, justification, and execution services for Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) and direct program funding to include tracking of commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
  
• Provide support in building Project Structures to include Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Network and Activity elements, control accounts utilizing Navy ERP.
  
• Validate chargeable objects, and input and track cost recovery charges utilizing the Cost Distribution Accounting Subsystem (CDASS)
  

Position Requirements:

• US Citizen.
  
• Ability to pass background check and Investigation for Tier 3 Public Trust Clearance.
  
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  
• Minimum of two (2) years of Navy ERP experience .
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
  
• Must possess strong time management skills.
  
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
