Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Platform Engineer to architect and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure for satellite operations. This is a hybrid role based in Irvine, California OR Arvada, CO and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices.

Salary Range: $120,000-180,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities for the Platform Engineer include:
- Architect, automate, test, and deploy Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Implement DevSecOps practices aligned with SOC2, NIST 800-171, and FedRAMP Medium.
- Develop secure ingress/egress for multi-tenant environments.
- Collaborate with software teams to ensure successful architecture and performance.
- Work directly with customers to deploy infrastructure in cloud and secure facilities.
Required Qualifications for the Platform Engineer include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in reliability, systems, DevOps, or platform engineering.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Proficiency in Python and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Experience with monitoring tools (New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch).
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of networking, APIs, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and Unix/Linux.
- Experience with identity management (Auth0, Okta) and Git/GitHub.
