Job Summary: Marathon TS is seeking a Training Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research to develop and revise training courses, creating comprehensive training catalogs, and supporting both scheduled and unscheduled mission training requirements. The Training Specialist will be responsible for developing a wide range of instructional and student materials, including course outlines, background materials, training aids, course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms. Additionally, the Training Specialist will conduct formal classroom training sessions, workshops, seminars, and computer-based training.

- Virtual Training Integration:
- Apply knowledge of existing infrastructure, technologies, and policies to support the integration of virtual training systems into DoD training programs, from command post exercises to unit-level training.

- Program Advisory and Support:
- Advise and support the contract virtual training program, contributing to its vision and ensuring its success in meeting training requirements.

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Instructional Design, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

- Proven experience in training development, course design, and delivery, especially within the context of DoD training and virtual systems.
- Knowledge of virtual training systems, integration techniques, and policies governing training within the DoD environment.

- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong research, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in course development tools and training software, including computer-based/computer-aided training systems.

- Strong presentation and teaching skills, with the ability to engage and instruct diverse audiences.
