Overview
LMI is seeking a Workforce Planning and Facilities Lead. This position will support NASA's HQ Support Services Division (SSD) with facilities and workplace planning-related activities Work to be performed onsite (five days per week) at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC.
The Workforce Planning and Facilities Lead will manage NASA HQ's facility planning and project management support, serving as the government's primary point of contact for the LMI contract. This role integrates cost estimation, scheduling, and project delivery with NASA's workplace strategy, ensuring all construction and reconfiguration activities are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to agency objectives.

Responsibilities
- Lead all project management activities and serve as primary interface with NASA stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project cost estimates for space planning, construction, furnishings, and reconfigurations.
- Oversee special projects (revitalization, lease renewal, lobby modernization).
- Conduct workplace planning and research (utilization analysis, stakeholder interviews).
- Direct construction management oversight, including review of shop drawings and progress inspections.
- Manage move coordination planning, communication, and execution.
- Ensure accuracy of design intent documents and review all construction documentation.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports with risks, issues, funding, and performance metrics.
- Supervise BIM/CAD Specialist and Facilities Planner to ensure integrated, high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of facility or construction project management experience.
- Demonstrated cost estimating and budget management expertise.
- Familiarity with workplace planning and space utilization principles.
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience preparing cost estimates for federal or NASA facility projects.
- Familiarity with BIM/CAD deliverables and their role in cost and schedule development.
- Experience with workplace transformation or government lease renewal projects.
