We are seeking an experienced Voice Engineer to lead the implementation of Microsoft Teams Phone and oversee the decommissioning of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM). This role will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless transition to Microsoft Teams as our primary voice platform, optimizing performance, and maintaining business continuity throughout the migration.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the technical planning and execution of Microsoft Teams Phone deployment.
Design and implement call flows, auto attendants, call queues, and Direct Routing configurations.
Migrate users, devices, and services from Cisco CUCM to Microsoft Teams Phone.
Decommission Cisco CUCM infrastructure, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Collaborate with IT, networking, and security teams to ensure integration and performance.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after migration.
Develop and maintain documentation for voice infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Train internal teams on Teams Phone features and best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System and Cisco CUCM.
Strong understanding of SIP, VoIP, Direct Routing, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
Experience with Microsoft 365, PowerShell, and Teams Admin Center.
Familiarity with networking fundamentals and QoS for voice traffic.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer, CCNP Collaboration) are a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in enterprise-level voice migrations.
Knowledge of compliance and security standards for voice communications.
Familiarity with third-party voice solutions and PSTN providers.
