Job Title: Software Systems Engineer
Location: Remote
Supporting: The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) **Public Trust Clearance**
Overview
CompTech is seeking a qualified Software Systems Engineer. This position is in support of a DLA DSS Sustainment Support Task Order (TO) on which we are bidding. Any offer will be contingent on TO Award.
Scope of Work
Key responsibilities include: 5 Years of relevant experience:
• Formulating/defining specifications for complex operating software programming applications.
• Modifying / maintaining complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
• Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting the aforementioned programs.
• Providing overall operating system maintenance, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.
• Assisting with all phases of software systems programming applications.
• Evaluating new and existing software products.
Knowledge, Skills, and Certification Requirements:
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
o CCNA Security, CySA+, GIC SP, G SEC, Security + CE, S SCP
• DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: IASAE (Information Assurance System Architecture & Eng.) CISSP, CISM, CAP
