The Boeing Company is looking a Test & Evaluation Engineer - Test Program Integrator to join our Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team in Berkeley, MO. A successful candidate will lead the implementation and development of the test & evaluation efforts across one of several programs in the St. Louis Area. The candidate will act as the test focal during all stages of the test verification activity. The candidate will conduct regular planning teleconferences with internal and external customers as well as provide regular briefings to management (IPRs, PMMs) and the customer (SRR, PDR, CDR).

The job requires the candidate to apply a broad range of test engineering skills for all aspects of system development and qualification which includes test planning, test procedures, test reports, and subcontract flow down/compliance. This position requires a candidate with good interpersonal and communication skills and a dedication to customer satisfaction. A successful candidate will coordinate near and long-term test planning.

The responsibilities will include instilling a project management culture in the team working on all aspects of the contract. The candidate must have prior knowledge/experience with all aspects of project management to include but not limited to; planning, scheduling, risk management, EVM in addition to strong communication and team building skills.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level, Lead or Senior Level Test & Evaluation Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develops and documents standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity
  • Leads the development of test procedures
  • Applies lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures
  • Guides others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
  • Oversees debriefing of the test team
  • Leads the analysis, processing and formatting of data to customer requirements
  • Approves test data prior to delivery to customer
  • Formulates expectations for test data based on historical data
  • Performs functions as required to ensure calibration system readiness and data validity
  • Trains others
  • Works under minimal direction


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Experience in Program Management Best Practices (i.e., Requirements Management, Resource Management, Integrated Planning and Scheduling, Financial Oversight, Earned Value Management (EVM), Program Performance Management, Supplier Integration, RIO (Risk, Issue, Opportunity) Management, Program Communication, Senior Leadership Reviews, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in test procedure development, test execution, and test reporting


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 5:10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with military customers at remote test sites
  • Experience with mission systems testing and integration
  • Experience in EVM and Cost Account Manager (CAM)
  • Experience with unmanned aircraft (UAV)
  • 2+ years of lab or flight test experience
  • Experience with multi-disciplined development in the following areas: Systems Engineering, System integration and integrated system test

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): $95,200 - $128,800

Summary Pay Range for Lead level (Level 4): $113,900 - $154,100

Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 5): $136,000 - $184,000
