Description:You will be the Environmental Health & Safety Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for managing Environmental Health and Safety disciplines in a dynamic Production and Engineering environment.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for managing Environmental Health and Safety disciplines such as program compliance, collecting and presenting metrics, conducting evaluations, assessments, and training. Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing Environmental Health and Safety disciplines with a focus on environmental aspects, including industrial wastewater, hazardous waste, and air
• Ensuring program compliance and conducting evaluations, assessments, and training as needed
• Collecting and presenting metrics to support Environmental Health and Safety initiatives
• Working collaboratively with other staff in a dynamic Production and Engineering environment
• Periodically working on-call to address Environmental Health and Safety needs

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 2-3+ years' experience managing ESH programs in a manufacturing, production, or DoD Program
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Must have the ability to periodically work on-call
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Experience with developing, implementing and managing OSHA programs such as Recordkeeping, Ergonomics, Machine Guarding, Job Hazard Assessment, Injury Investigations, Robotics Safety, Environmental Incident Reviews, Test Plan Reviews, Hazard Communication, Personal Protective Equipment
• Experience developing, implementing and managing Environmental programs such as Hazardous Waste, Industrial Waste Water, and Chemical Management
• Demonstrated strength in customer service and cooperative teaming, demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects/tasks, effectively prioritizing tasks and work load, and ensuring timely closure of assignments
• Professional Safety Certification (OHST, CSP or other) or safety degree
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
