This role will serve as a Program Officer supporting the IFMC Management Support Office.
Responsibilities
Support an Army Project Office providing program analyst support to the coordination and execution of Staff Action Coordination Office (SACO) actions assigned to the project office. Responsible for utilizing an internal Task Management System to manage actions. Primary duties include working within the Program Executive Office Sharepoint TeamTrack system to receive, acknowledge, assign, track and close out all SACO actions assigned to the project office. Responsible for identifying the appropriate project office subject matter expert to work the action, assigning the action and collecting responses to consolidate and submit through TeamTrack to close out the action. Reviews and determines all appropriate requirements required for task completion. Administers all phases of task responses, including final coordination with Leadership for concurrence. Additional responsibilities include tracking and reporting weekly metrics on project office performance accomplishing the assigned actions. The incumbent provides analysis, evaluation and problem-solving services on specific command driven Organic Industrial Base (OIB) centric problems, projects, programs, or functions. Monitors security and industrial policy issues that may impact the Command's mission.
Ensures dissemination of information to the staff and coordinates the staffs efforts to ensure their expertise is available to the Program Operations Director during the decision making process. Organizes and develops briefings. Monitors and reviews strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and instructions from higher echelon headquarters and makes recommendations to the Program Operations Director. Collects appropriate data and prepares project and position papers. Organizes and delivers briefings and updates to directors, managers and supervisors at all levels within and outside of IFMC. Develops comprehensive plans and procedures for the integration of material into briefings and staff reports. Analyzes and evaluates issues typically diverse in nature, that require expertise and input from IFMC leadership. Develops plans and strategies for the internal and external integration of day-to-day and long range projects, actions and activities requiring collaboration from multiple staff elements. Provides critical guidance and instruction on execution objectives. Reviews and interprets taskings and clarifies requests from various government and non-government agencies. Receives and evaluates products containing information that may be sensitive or controversial in nature, and require delicate coordination and diplomacy.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in associated field
- 3-5 years of program analyst experience within or supporting an Army project office
- Proficient MS office product-line expertise
- Be a US citizen
- Be a resident of the Huntsville/Tennessee Valley area
- Strong attention to detail
- Active DoD Secret security clearance

- Highly organized, flexible and demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to meet time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to work with minimum guidance in addressing actions, and then use knowledge, ingenuity, innovation and experience to complete the product
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II or better Certification in the area of acquisition, financial management or engineering a plus
