Overview:
TSA, Inc. is seeking a Business Operations Assistant to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our growing business. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Roles/Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service at the front desk.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and route them to the appropriate team members.
- Schedule and manage conference room reservations.
- Assist with booking, processing and auditing travel reservations/reimbursements through company systems.
- Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Provide support for small subcontract management tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
- Track and maintain basic project and operational data for reporting purposes.
- Assist with preparing simple reports or summaries using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Support the Business Operations team with various tasks as assigned to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Build and submit monthly expense reports for company credit card reconciliations.
- Manage basic office supply purchases to ensure the office is well-stocked and organized.
- Coordinate in-office company events, including tracking attendance and arranging food orders.
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional and courteous demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
Qualifications Desired:
- Prior administrative or customer service experience, especially in an office environment.
- Experience with travel booking or expense processing systems (e.g., SAP Concur).
- Basic knowledge of government contracting or travel policies (e.g., Joint Travel Regulation, Federal Travel Regulation, Per Diem).
- Interest in gaining experience in contracts administration or project support roles.
