Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Program Manager to lead an enterprise-level Salesforce CRM
program for a Department of Defense initiative. This role requires a strong blend of program governance,
CRM strategy, and Salesforce platform expertise. The Program Manager will serve as the bridge between
executive leadership, technical teams, and end users—driving adoption, compliance, and successful
delivery of Salesforce capabilities within a highly regulated environment.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience overseeing Salesforce programs in enterprise settings, a
proven track record of program leadership, and strong familiarity with governance frameworks in federal
or DoD environments.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Governance
● Provide overall leadership and accountability for the Salesforce CRM program, ensuring
compliance with IL5/FedRAMP High security standards.
● Establish and maintain program governance, reporting structures, and stakeholder management
frameworks.
● Align program strategy with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Stakeholder & Executive Management
● Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, business stakeholders, and
Salesforce delivery teams.
● Facilitate executive steering committees, progress reviews, and decision-making forums.
● Translate business requirements into actionable deliverables and measurable outcomes.
Project Delivery & Risk Management
● Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocations across multiple Salesforce workstreams.
● Proactively identify and mitigate risks to avoid scope creep or delays.
● Oversee integration efforts with third-party systems and enterprise applications.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
● Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of Salesforce administrators, developers, architects,
and analysts.
● Manage subcontractor resources (up to 15 FTEs), ensuring consistent delivery standards.
● Promote best practices across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
Change Management & Adoption
● Drive user adoption strategies and organizational change management efforts.
● Partner with business units to develop training, enablement, and communications.
● Track adoption metrics, measure ROI, and ensure long-term scalability of the Salesforce platform.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
● 10+ years of program/project management experience, with 5+ years focused on large-scale
Salesforce programs.
● Proven track record managing multi-year roadmaps, budgets, and resources.
● Deep knowledge of Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud,
Experience Cloud, Platform).
● Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methods.
● Excellent communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
● Active U.S. Secret clearance (or higher).
Preferred Qualifications
● PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification. (preferred but not mandatory)
● Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Application
Architect).
● Experience managing Salesforce programs in regulated industries such as government,
healthcare, or financial services.
● Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security in Salesforce implementations.
