We're seeking a highly experienced Government Property Management Specialist to join our team. You'll provide essential guidance and expertise, ensuring full compliance with all government and company regulations concerning government property. This role is crucial for maintaining complete accountability for government property, from acquisition to final disposition.Responsibilities Include:Contract & Regulatory Compliance: Verify adherence to contract provisions and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), overseeing subcontractor government property.Communication & Representation: Act as the primary contact for customers, Contracting Officers, internal managers, and DCMA representatives, serving as the POC for DCMA Audits.Property Tracking & Accountability: Ensure proper tracking and recording of all government property movement. Work closely with Property Custodians to ensure asset accountability, mentoring them on processes and providing training.Inventory & Reporting: Oversee physical inventories and report property loss.Loss Prevention: Investigate and report lost/damaged property, recommending preventive measures.Data Integrity: Monitor and verify the accuracy of database and hard-copy records.Policy Development: Develop and review organizational government property policies and procedures.Auditing: Conduct assessments, audits, and spot checks to ensure accurate property tracking and documentation.Contract Closeout: Verify completion of all property-related activities at contract termination.Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.Experience: 15+ years of government property administration experience in warehousing and material flow.Reporting: Proven ability to track and compile reports on government property.Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS, applicable property regulations, Federal Databases (Fedlog, PUBFLIS, WEBFLIS, PCARSS), DRMO/Plant Clearance processes, Forms DD1149, DD1348, DD1662, DOD Instructions (SOM, GOM, IUID).Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and inventory tracking databases.Audit Experience: Experience with DCMA Government property audits.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and record-keeping skills. Must be flexible, proactive, responsive, and detail-oriented.Certifications: Membership in the National Property Management Association (NPMA) and Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM).
