Kforce has a client that is seeking an Account Executive in Houston, TX.

Duties Include:

  • Account Executive will own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through closing, targeting Air Force and Navy accounts

  • Consistently meet and exceed annual and quarterly sales quotas

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior government and industry stakeholders

  • Identify, pursue, and close opportunities for software, AI, and data analytics solutions

  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned with customer mission priorities and organizational goals

  • Collaborate with internal technical teams, program managers, and solution architects to deliver customer value

  • Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline management within CRM systems

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements

  • Ensure compliance with DoD procurement practices and contracting requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

  • 10+ years of sales/account executive experience in software, AI, and/or data analytics

  • Proven track record of quota attainment and overachievement in enterprise software sales

  • Demonstrated success selling into the U.S. Air Force and/or Navy

  • Strong understanding of DoD procurement processes, government contracting, and acquisition lifecycles

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills





The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
