DOD - Sr Test Technician

Location: Clearwater, FL

Salary Range: $27 TO 32/hr Competitive hourly rate

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sr Test Technician to join our team. This role requires a professional who can effectively monitor, read, and record test data for navigational, inertial measurement, and guidance units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of testing and safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics
• Minimum of 3 years of electronic test experience
• Capacity to learn to read & understand schematic drawing. Familiar with standard test lap concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field such as 5S, FOD (Foreign Object Detection), & ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety practices

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with procedural or SOD reading
• Associate degree in electronics or related field
• Familiarity with 5S, FOD, and ESD safety practices

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor and record test data for various units
• Initiate automated and manual test setups using detailed procedures
• Handle, mount, and test units using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment
• Work under the supervision of a Test Lead or Test Engineer
• Identify and address issues proactively
