Lead SSOe Technical Integration Engineer (Okta)

Bravo Communications Services LLC is leading the Identity Credential Access Management Next Gen Single Sign On (ICAM NG SSO) program for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This program aims to modernize the VA's Single Sign-On (SSO) technology to enhance security, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Position Overview

We're looking for a Lead SSOe Integration Engineer to spearhead our enterprise identity Migration to Okta. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic oversight, ensuring seamless integration. You'll lead initiatives that enhance security, streamline access, and enable automation across our digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large scale migration of applications to Okta-based identity solutions for SSOe
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) workflows using Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to define and enforce IAM policies and governance
• Own the full lifecycle of Okta workflows, app assignments, and directory integrations
• Monitor and optimize Okta performance, usage, and audit readiness
• Mentor junior engineers and drive application migration to completion

Required Experience/Qualifications

• 5+ years in identity engineering or cloud infrastructure roles, with deep expertise in Okta
• Proficiency in Terraform, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP, Entra ID)
• Solid understanding of RBAC, MFA policies, and identity lifecycle automation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven leadership in cross-functional technical initiatives

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• Okta Certified Professional or equivalent certification
• Development experience with C# and .net a plus
