Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
Nature of Supervision
Works under general supervision.
Less detailed instructions are provided and moderate peer review is required.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with 2 years of prior related experience.

Must Haves:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 2 years of prior related experience.
- HS Diploma/GED and 4+ years' experience
- Must be able to follow written procedures and complete assigned work in a timely manner
- Basic computers skills to complete timecards and view some of the schematics and work instructions
- Cable harness assembly experience
- Good communication skills
- Teamwork oriented; able to meld quickly to the team
- Ability to work with little or no supervision if required
Nice to Haves:
- IPC 610 and or J-STD experience or certification could be helpful
- 2-year degree with 2 years' Soldering certifications
