Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

As a Test Engineer , you will be responsible for creating software tests, automating test cases, performing application testing, validating bugs, and isolating issues. You will ensure the quality and reliability of applications that support a forensic and investigative ecosystem across multiple enterprise applications in a multi-enclave environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create software tests and automate test cases for enterprise applications
- Perform application testing, validate bugs, and isolate issues
- Write and initiate tests and analyze and report test results in the ticketing system
- Perform configuration management, change management, and release management
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies
- Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met
- Develop, maintain , and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures
- Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports
- Identify and document problems and issues, providing guidance on root-cause and remediation
- Support the presentation and formal review of test results
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
- Ensure applications meet security and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
Mid-Level
- Bachelor's degree OR Master's degree with 5 years of experience OR Associate degree with 8 years of experience OR High School/Diploma with 11 years of experience,
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Relevant testing certifications (ISTQB, etc.) preferred
- Proficiency with:
- Software testing methodologies
- Test automation frameworks
- Test case development and execution
- Defect tracking and management
- Basic scripting for test automation

Senior-Level
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree with 8 years of experience of experience OR Associate degree with 11 years of experience OR High School/Diploma with 14 years of experience,
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Experience with SAFe Agile framework
- Strong understanding of testing in secure environments
- Demonstrated experience leading testing efforts for complex applications
- Advanced testing certifications preferred
- Advanced proficiency with:
- Complex test planning and strategy development
- Advanced test automation frameworks
- Integration testing in complex environments
- Security testing methodologies
- Performance and load testing
- Test data management
- Risk-based testing approaches
- Test environment configuration
- Continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines
