Journeyman Data Analyst
Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Journeyman Data Analyst to support our client by leveraging techniques from computer programming, mathematics, and statistics to analyze data and generate insights that drive improved business performance. The Journeyman Data Analyst will be responsible for applying statistical methods to evaluate data, preparing clear and actionable reports, and developing and implementing databases and data collection systems. Duties include acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, maintaining and optimizing data systems, and identifying trends or patterns within complex datasets. The role also involves cleaning and validating data to ensure accuracy, as well as recommending and defining new opportunities for process improvements.
Tasks Performed:
Apply statistical methods and analytical techniques to evaluate and interpret data.
Prepare clear, actionable reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Develop, implement, and maintain databases and data collection systems.
Acquire data from both primary and secondary sources to support analysis.
Maintain and optimize data systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns within complex datasets.
Clean, validate, and transform data to ensure accuracy and quality.
Recommend and define opportunities for new process improvements based on data insights.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline
At Least 8 years related experience
Advanced skills in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
Proven experience developing and maintaining databases and data collection systems.
Strong ability to clean, validate, and transform data for accuracy and reliability.
Demonstrated expertise in identifying trends and delivering actionable insights through clear reporting.
