Senior Data Engineer
Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support our client in transforming raw data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will design, build, and optimize systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics at scale. The candidate will create data pipelines that convert raw data into formats usable by data scientists, data-centric applications, and other data consumers. The primary responsibility for this role is to make data available, accessible, and secure to stakeholders. Job tasks include ensuring data pipelines meet Service Level Agreements and performance standards, monitoring data repositories and data pipelines to ensure operational efficiency and take action to address and resolve problems, and implementing orchestration and automation solution for data pipelines.
Tasks Performed:
Design, build, and optimize scalable systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics.
Develop and maintain robust data pipelines that convert raw data into usable formats for data scientists, applications, and other stakeholders.
Ensure data availability, accessibility, integrity, and security across all platforms.
Monitor and evaluate data repositories and pipelines to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting data flow, quality, or system performance.
Implement orchestration and automation solutions to streamline data pipeline operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Document data workflows, processes, and technical standards for consistency and scalability.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline .
At Least 10 years related experience.
Expertise in designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems.
Strong knowledge of data integrity, security, and compliance standards.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows for performance.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decisions.
