Responsibilities:
Design, develop, integrate, and maintain real-time software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, cutting-edge, and high-quality training software.
Perform software design, coding, testing, and integration per product requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges with creative, efficient solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience as a software developer.
Proficiency in C++ development in a Windows environment.
Experience with source control tools (preferably Bitbucket or Git).
Strong background in software design, integration, and testing.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills for complex technical concepts.
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with HLA, FOM, SOM, and RTI.
Familiarity with VBS4 application.
Knowledge of OGC CDB standards and OpenFlight format.
Background in simulation applications and real-time systems.
Networking programming experience.
Skilled in creating and documenting software interfaces.
Experience with performance optimization in real-time systems.
Exposure to Agile development processes.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
