Description:Supply Operations and Logistics (SOL) Sustainment Lead - Level 4
Location: Fort Worth TX
What You Will Be Doing
As a SO&L Sustainment Lead, you will be at the center of ensuring fleet readiness and mission success by managing a critical sustainment supply chain that supports some of the world's most advanced aircraft. This leadership role offers the opportunity to influence strategy, drive innovation, and partner across multiple teams to deliver results that directly impact our customers' missions.
You'll combine technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to streamline processes, optimize supplier performance, and lead cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities
- Drive Mission Readiness - Lead sustainment supply chain operations to meet cost, schedule, and on-time delivery goals that ensure fleet availability and success.
- Lead Process Improvements - Streamline and standardize processes across supply chain, program management, and engineering teams to increase efficiency and execution quality.
- Apply Technical Expertise - Use data, technical studies, and performance analysis to make strategic decisions and deliver innovative solutions.
- Collaborate Across Stakeholders - Partner with internal leaders and external customers to identify needs, shape proposals, and recommend practical solutions.
- Mentor and Lead - Guide and develop team members by sharing expertise, fostering problem-solving, and enabling career growth.
- Champion Continuous Improvement - Anticipate risks, drive cross-functional initiatives, and implement improvements across the sustainment supply lifecycle.
- Manage Critical Contracts - Oversee Supplier Performance-Based Logistics Contracts to ensure compliance, optimize performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Leverage Data Analytics - Use data-driven insights to guide material demand planning, supplier performance tracking, and cost reporting.
- Communicate with Impact - Deliver clear and compelling updates, proposals, and technical information to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
