Description
SAIC has an opening for a Senior Web / Portal Developer to support the USSOCOM SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) contract. The USSOCOM mission is to provide fully capable Special Operations Forces (SOF) to defend the United States and its interests and synchronize planning for global operations against terrorist networks. You will support the USSOCOM mission as we partner with SOF military and civilian members to provide world-class IT services and support that connect over 60,000 users around the world in the areas of software development / maintenance, network services, security, end-user computing, and test and evaluation. This position is based on-site at Fort Bragg, NC.

You will support the USSOCOM mission as we partner with SOF military and civilian members to provide world-class IT services and support that connect over 60,000 users around the world in the areas of software development / maintenance, network services, security, end-user computing, and test and evaluation. This position is based on-site at Fort Bragg, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and implements portal and SharePoint solutions, including custom solutions and integrated third-party solutions.
- Performs scripted installations, configuring, STIG'ing and securing a farm environment.
- Performs SharePoint Central Administration, Shared Services, Managed Metadata, Enterprise Services, STSADM commands, PowerShell scripting and how the services and functions affect the entire SharePoint farm.
- Monitors and manages application server health and functionality, access permissions, usage, events, and messages, and ensures the environment conforms to governance requirements and security standards.
- Troubleshoots the server administration side as well as the customer facing side of SharePoint and other web environments.
- Manages large and complex projects, including leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Gathers and analyzes requirements from stakeholders, including assessing business needs and translating them into technical requirements.
- Implements security controls for Microsoft based portal solutions, including secure authentication and authorization methods.
- Works with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to deploy and troubleshoot COTS/GOTS/custom apps.
- Familiar with DEVSECOPS, can develop CI/CD pipelines and move toward automated software deployments.
- Must be familiar with HTML, HTML5, JAVA, .Net, and .Net Core.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of related experience; OR Master's Degree and + years of related experience; OR PHD and 3+ years of related experience; OR AA with 10+ years of related experience; OR HS with 12 + years of related experience in lieu of degree.
- DoDD 8570.01-M IAT Level II.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI if hired.
