Job Description
We are looking for a full-time, experienced VoIP technicians for a decommissioning project in Washington D.C. and the surrounding National Capital Region (NCR). The project consists of decommissioning legacy voice equipment and installing a VoIP network. This is a 100% on-site position at NCR DoD sites, Monday – Friday with 8-hour shifts. The successful candidate will have experience with the following:
Site Surveying and infrastructure assessments
Identify and catalog analog and BRI end instruments
Voice Install, Change and Disconnect order activity tasks
Problem solving and customer training for VoIP software and hardware
Qualifications
US citizenship
DoD Secret Clearance or clearable
Personal transportation to site survey locations
3 year’s experience as a voice system technician
3 year’s experience deploying telephony end points
Familiarity with structured cabling
Familiarity with layer 2 and layer 3 equipment
Basic MS Word and Excel skills
Ability to complete assigned tasks working within a team or independently
