Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server infrastructure in compliance with DoD and Army standards
- Manage user accounts, security groups, and organizational units (OUs) to ensure proper access control and compliance
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture; apply patches and updates as required
- Implement and maintain DoD STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) and ensure systems remain compliant with Information Assurance (IA) requirements
- Effectively troubleshoot and document complex technical issues
- Record and track work in the enterprise ticketing system and Knowledge Management repositories
- Perform backup, recovery, and restoration operations for AD and Windows Servers
- Support incident response efforts, audit requests, and vulnerability remediation
- Provide on-call or shift support in a 24x7 operational environment as needed
- Work independently or collaboratively to set priorities and meet mission deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma/GED + 4 years of IT experience or AA/AS + 2 year or BA/BS degree
Certifications (DoD 8570 - IAT II baseline required prior to hire):
- CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, or SSCP (required)
Must obtain within 6 months of hire:
- AZ-900 - Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or AZ-104 - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or MD-102 - Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator
- 2+ years of experience managing Active Directory in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 (or newer), DNS, DHCP, and GPOs
- Experience in system hardening, patching, and DoD STIG compliance

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
