Come join our team! Mobius is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Analyst directly supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Wargames and Exercises Directorate (MDA/DTW). Mobius provides professional engineering and analysis expertise supporting various government agencies to solve some of the nation's most challenging problems. We are at the leading edge of technology supporting advanced missile defense system testing, engineering, analysis and wargames/exercises.
Our MDA/DTW analyst / engineers work in modern, well-appointed government facilities on Schriever Space Force Base (SFB), Colorado. Schriever SFB is located just east of Colorado Springs and is certainly a hub of missile / space operations, research and development. You will collaborate with other missile defense experts - military, government civilians, and various contractors - to support MDA's missile defense testing and evaluation activities that are integral to delivering state-of-the art sensors, weapons and command/control systems to the warfighter
The candidate will perform analytical tasks associated with supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises. The entry-level MSA will learn to design, build, and run modeling and simulations of ballistic missile defense systems and ballistic missile threats. Analysts plan, configure, execute and monitor Missile Defense System (MDS) parameters using simulation software such as Missile Defense Advanced Simulation (MDASIM) and Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) to support distributive virtual and constructive exercises modeling BMD systems and ballistic missile threats.

Duties of a Modeling and Simulation Analyst may include:
- Support the technical lead in all aspects of MDS Wargames and Exercises modeling and simulation.
- Assist other more senior analysts and engineers with pre-test coordination, event execution, and pre-/post-mission testing.
- Responsibilities range from conducting weekly planning meetings and technical activities involving diverse network and architecture configurations.
- Assist in configuring and conducting on-console operations on designated modeling and simulation workstations that support CCMD and MDA exercises.
Qualifications
- Must be a self-starter willing to learn and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Able to follow established procedures to solve wargame and exercise problems
- Experience with DoD Wargames and Exercises, desired
- Familiar and/or experience in any Modeling and Simulation software or tools, desired
- Software development / coding experience desired
- Experience configuring and operating both Windows and LINUX workstations desired
- Familiar with DoD Joint Event Life Cycle desired
- Have (or able to obtain) a US passport
- Able to support alternative shifts on a periodic basis to execute warfighter exercises
- Able to travel (up to 25%)
- CompTIA Security+ desired
Education
- BA/BS in any field pertinent to being an M&S Analyst; no direct experience required; 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirement
Clearance
- Secret or higher clearance required
Colorado Pay Range
$68,000 - $75,000 USD
