We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise in PKI, certificate management, and enterprise authentication services. This role will serve as the program’s certificate subject matter expert, leading Break and Inspect, IdP integration, and secure interoperability while supporting broader DMZ engineering and sustainment efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the program’s subject matter expert in PKI and certificate management, including Break & Inspect certificates, enterprise authentication, and IdP integration, ensuring secure interoperability with mission partner networks.
• Lead system architecture design and integration of secure enterprise solutions (Zero Trust, secure cloud, mission partner networks).
• Support enterprise services (MS Exchange, DLP, firewall solutions) and ensure secure, reliable system operations.
• Conduct and document system testing (integration, performance, regression, and security) in lab and production environments.
• Oversee deployment activities including site surveys, equipment installation, technical documentation, and Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) drills.
• Provide Tier III escalation and sustainment support for deployed systems and capabilities.
• Prepare whitepapers, CONOPS, and technical briefings to support leadership decision-making.
Required Skills:
• Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with PKI, certificate services, and authentication processes.
• 8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting enterprise IT systems.
• Experience with Break & Inspect certificates, MS Exchange, DLP, and firewall support.
• Proficiency in RedHat Linux, VMware/ESXi, and system hardening with STIGs.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins) and enterprise system administration.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to lead technical initiatives.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Active Directory, certificate authority services, and mission partner interoperability.
• Knowledge of secure cloud, Zero Trust, and data protection frameworks.
• Prior experience in defense or secure communications programs.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
