Responsibilities:
• Develops architectures and methodologies for software systems design and development across multiple platforms and organizations
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of software systems design and development innovation and excellence.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Deep experience with ServiceNow Security Incident and Vulnerability Response solution deployments and operation
• Master functional and technical understanding of the ServiceNow Security suite
• Master understanding of the configuration management database (CMDB), IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and their value/relevance to Security solutions
• Master understanding of the configuration management database (CMDB), IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and their value/relevance to Security solutions
• Experience with common SIEM tools and integrating ServiceNow SecOps with these tools (ex. Tenable, Splunk, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
• Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
• Experience in Elastic and SIEM product and associated integrations
• Evaluating and selecting forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in the field of software design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.

This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret), Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Travel to customer sites up to 30%, however travel could exceed based on the needs of the business.

Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5+ years of ServiceNow Security Operations Experience

Certifications:
• ServiceNow Security Incident Response Implementation (Highly Preferred)
• ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Implementation (Highly Preferred)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Preferred)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding mission partners into a disconnected platform environment (dark site deployment).

Setting up SecOps modules and dashboards.

Integrating into the ServiceNow platform.

Ensuring compliance and posture are correctly set up.

Managing the lifecycle of the platform from a security aspect.

Collaborating closely with the on-site managed services team.

Must-Have Skills/Qualifications:

SecOps (Security Operations) architecture and framework knowledge.

CIS and STIG compliance frameworks.

ServiceNow SecOps module knowledge (or equivalent service management platform awareness, with ability to be groomed in ServiceNow).

Infrastructure knowledge (compute, storage, networking).

Tenable awareness.

ITIL framework awareness.

CMDB, ITSM, and ITOM awareness (not necessarily hands-on, but understanding concepts like CMDB discovery and monitoring).
