We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Audit Response Helpdesk Specialist to support the coordination and submission of audit-related documentation. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests, including Prepared By Client (PBC) lists, sample submissions, and scheduling meetings with auditors.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a collaborative liaison between internal DON (Department of the Navy) stakeholders and external auditors, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of audit-related inquiries.
• Provide responsive helpdesk support for audit questions, offering guidance on documentation requirements, submission processes, and audit timelines.
• Coordinate the collection, review, and submission of audit documentation, including Prepared By Client (PBC) items and sample requests.
• Support internal teams in understanding and meeting audit expectations, including organizing and facilitating meetings with auditors.
• Maintain detailed records of audit communications, submissions, and stakeholder interactions to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Partner with compliance, finance, and operational teams to promote audit readiness and streamline documentation workflows.
Qualifications
• Experience in audit coordination, compliance support, or helpdesk operations within a regulated environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Must be located in San Diego, CA or Hawaii and available for on-site support as required.
