Job Description:
The inventory Management Support employee is responsible for the general maintenance and overall organization of the stock areas and assist management with controlling inventory. Work closely/daily with the Planning Team to ensure inventory/asset accuracy and accountability. Responsible for checking in all products and verifying the accuracy of incoming receipts. Day to Day incoming receipts from suppliers and repairs from customers. Provide immediate feedback to the supervisor regarding receipt issues and or damage. Ensure all appropriate stockroom procedures are followed to minimize company loss. Assist in maintaining Vehicles & Forklifts.

Must Haves:
- HS Diploma
- Proficient with computers, basic knowledge of word editing software, inventory sheets and email management.
- MS Office knowledge
- Ability to carry several assignments at the same time and deliver positive results.
- Heavy Machinery Handling (Forklift Experience needed)
- Ability to adjust to continuous change, ability to shift focus to new tasks while keeping productivity and without losing sight of general goals.
- Detail Oriented, able to produce accurate work to avoid unnecessary reproduction.
- Self-initiated, able to complete the necessary work and/or identify areas that require work.
- Dependable, completion of all assigned tasks and maintains good attendance.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience using an ERP system with MRP & MPS capabilities.
Job Description:
The inventory Management Support employee is responsible for the general maintenance and overall organization of the stock areas and assist management with controlling inventory. Work closely/daily with the Planning Team to ensure inventory/asset accuracy and accountability. Responsible for checking in all products and verifying the accuracy of incoming receipts. Day to Day incoming receipts from suppliers and repairs from customers. Provide immediate feedback to the supervisor regarding receipt issues and or damage. Ensure all appropriate stockroom procedures are followed to minimize company loss. Assist in maintaining Vehicles & Forklifts.
- Weekly cycle counts - perform physical counts of inventory.
- Reconciles actual stock counts to computer-generated reports.
- Records and maintains Inventory in Trak Star Inventory database,
- Process all materials movement requests accurately and on time. (Store/Pick/Transfer/Move)
- Receipt of incoming goods
- Material handling of Customer material and equipment.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.)
- Heavy Machinery Handling (Forklift experience needed)
Essential Functions:
- Attention to detail in all Inventory processes to minimize variances in cycle counts on the stock status report.
- Assist in cycle counting and effectively process through the accounting department accordingly.
- Review Inventory variances and perform root cause analysis of variances to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate with all warehouse areas as necessary to facilitate good inventory control.
- Keep the warehouse organized to maintain an effective and safe work environment.
- Transfer staged items to the correct stocking bin, physically and electronically.
- Contact other company departments as necessary to resolve any warehouse issues.
Qualifications:
- Must have valid Driver's License.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to read, send and execute instructions via email and memos.
- Proficient with computers, basic knowledge of word editing software, inventory sheets and email management.
- Ability to carry several assignments at the same time and deliver positive results.
- Experience with Heavy Equipment (Forklift, Overhead Crane, Bandsaw)
- Ability to adjust to continuous change, ability to shift focus to new tasks while keeping productivity and without losing sight of general goals.
- Detail Oriented, able to produce accurate work to avoid unnecessary reproduction.
- Self-initiated, able to complete the necessary work and/or identify areas that require work.
- Dependable, completion of all assigned tasks and maintains good attendance.
- Able to lift 50lbs and stand during extended period.
