Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to oversee the security of our large AWS cloud-based capabilities. This role is critical in ensuring the security and compliance of our systems, including the creation and accreditation of System Security Plans (SSPs) and the execution of other standard ISSO tasks.
The ISSO will play a vital role in safeguarding our systems and data, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our cloud-based capabilities.

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00

Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing:
- Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive SSPs to ensure our AWS cloud infrastructure meets all relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Responsible for managing security incident response, maintaining security documentation, and providing security training and guidance to team members.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of AWS cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Active TS/SCI w/Poly
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience with the NC3 mission space and AWS cloud certifications
Security Clearance Requirement:
