We are seeking a Data Security Specialist to support the United States Postal Service (USPS) Cybersecurity Support Services program. This role is responsible for safeguarding USPS data assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information across enterprise platforms.

Falls Church, VA; Morrisville, NC; Eagan, MN; Remote considered
Clearance Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a USPS Public Trust clearance
- Must meet USPS residency requirements
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; or 4 additional years of relevant experience.
Experience: 3-7 years of data security or cybersecurity experience.
Certifications: Security+ or equivalent preferred.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities
- Administer and support encryption tools, including cloud, desktop, email, and file share security.
- Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on PKI, digital certificates, and secure communications.
- Script with APIs to automate processes and support secure system integrations.
- Support upgrades, installs , testing, and configuration of enterprise security solutions.
- Serve as an escalation point for critical incidents and lead remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deliver secure data solutions.
- Proactively communicate technical alerts, risks, and issue resolutions to stakeholders.
Qualifications
