Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is actively seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support Code 349 at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) in Newport, RI.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Conduct ship checks and develop Temporary Alterations (TEMPALTs).
• Develop Operational Alterations (OPALTs) and Ship Alterations (SHIPALTs).
• Develop and modify existing TEMPALT Data Packages.
• Develop TEMPALTs and modifications of TEMPALTs to support equipment installations.
• Prepare and submit Departures from Specification (DFS) and other TEMPALT related documentation required to conduct installations.
Minimum Education and Experience:
• Minimum of High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated experience with carry-on special projects systems and programs.
• Current Secret Clearance
Additional Qualifications:
• Demonstrated proficiency in TEMPALT development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in TEMPALT installation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
The primary location for performance of the work will be in Newport, RI with occasional travel.
