Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is actively seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support Code 349 at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) in Newport, RI.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop, evaluate, modify, test, and maintain computer software for special R&D project equipment.
• Life Cycle management and administration of the hardware and software in the development enclave(s).
• Evaluation of computer software.
• Software development of test tools, test support services, and program end item documentation.
Minimum Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of CompTia Security+ Certification or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience configuring, deploying, operating, and maintaining Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAV) compliance.
• Current TS/SCI or TS/SCI eligible.
Additional Qualifications:
• Demonstrated proficiency in CSWF tasking in support of ATO obtainment and maintenance.
• Demonstrated proficiency in system administration to support development enclave maintenance.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the hardening of Windows or Linux workstation and server environments including the implementation of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical and Implementation Guide (STIG).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
The primary location for performance of the work will be in Newport, RI with occasional travel.
